Why Choose Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a natural alternative form of healthcare that is based on the correction of bone misalignments in your spine. These misalignments are often the cause of deeper underlying issues such as nerve and muscle pain and, in more serious cases, cell, organ, and tissue dysfunction.

The specialization of Focus Forward Chiropractic is neurologically-based upper cervical chiropractic care. The Grostic technique is an orthogonal based method that looks at a person’s well-being in terms of their entire body rather than just the area where symptoms manifest. Your nervous system controls and coordinates every cell, tissue, organ and muscle function in your body. Your nervous system is comprised of the brain, spinal cord, and all of the nerves that leave the spinal cord and travel throughout the body. The spinal bones surround the spinal cord and create pathways for the nerves to exit. Misalignments in the spine can affect the nervous system’s performance by either inhibition or excitation of the nervous tissue. This is called a vertebral subluxation (or nerve interference), which can greatly reduce your quality of life and potentially cause numerous health issues.

Our focus is to not only locate and correct these subluxations and misalignments of the spine, but to find the exact one(s) that need to be adjusted to address underlying issues of dysfunction. Dysfunction can range from the nerves and muscles, to organs, tissues and even cellular level problems. Chiropractic works to actively correct these issues by conducting complete and thorough analyses and specific adjustments of the spine, to restore the incredible healing and adapting abilities of the human body.
